I need help with a computer virus/spyware? Ok so recently I was browsing through "The Pirate Bay" on Firefox and all of a sudden the webpage turned maroon and said: Restricted Site! ______________________________________… Th is web site is restricted based on your security preferences. ______________________________________ … Your system is infected. Please activate your antivirus software. I have scanned my computer with AVG and it found 4 infections: "C:WindowsSysWOW64winlogon32.exe";"… horse FakeAV.BNP";"Moved to Virus Vault" "C:WindowsSysWOW64warnings.html";"V… found FakeAlert";"Moved to Virus Vault" "C:UsersBrandonAppDataLocalLowSun… horse Java/Downloader.P";"Moved to Virus Vault" "C:UsersBrandonAppDataLocalLowSun… horse Java/Downloader.P";"Moved to Virus Vault" AVG moved these 4 infections to the virus vault and removed them. I tried to go back on Firefox and found that "The Pirate Bay", "Facebook", and "Photobucket" all do not work. So I tried to go on Internet Explorer and the same problem occured. After looking on various forums some said to download Malwarebytes' AntiMalware and SUPERAntiSpyware. I'm currently running these scans to see if any other infections show up. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? It would be much appreciated. Also, might I add that after my the webpage turned maroon and wouldnt let me access the webpage, my task manager was disabled and would not let me access it. I fixed this by typing into the command prompt; "REG add HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentV… /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f" Furthermore, if I go into the command prompt and type in "Ping [website name]" and get it's IP address, I can then access the webpage, such as Facebook, by typing the IP address into the address bar in Firefox. I have scanned my computer with AVG and it found 4 infections:

AVG moved these 4 infections to the virus vault and removed them. I tried to go back on Firefox and found that "The Pirate Bay", "Facebook", and "Photobucket" all do not work. So I tried to go on Internet Explorer and the same problem occured.

After looking on various forums some said to download Malwarebytes' AntiMalware and SUPERAntiSpyware. I'm currently running these scans to see if any other infections show up.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? It would be much appreciated.

Also, might I add that after my the webpage turned maroon and wouldnt let me access the webpage, my task manager was disabled and would not let me access it. I fixed this by typing into the command prompt;

Follow this instructions to Remove Virus in you Computer. Restart You Computer Safe Mode with Networking 1. Log out and reboot your machine. 2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly. 3. Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu. 4. Login. Actually you computer is infected but the restricted sire is the effect of AVG. AVG has site adviser or whatever it is called, this functions scans all your web actions. it this who has block your access to this site. You have just to make this AVG functions disable. As for the virus try to do a system restore to a date before the virus came to your pc( start - accessories- system tools- system restore) You also use better antivirus like eset nod32/smart security or kaspersky. Even Bit defender is quite good. IF the virus persist then you should format your hard disk and install a fresh copy of windows. It is better to use eset, You should also use a registry cleaner like ccleaner, regcure,registry easy. This help to maintain health of your pc. Just a guess but there might be some malware written in Java or something that runs when you access those certain sites. I would go into safe mode and keep running test until everything is cleared up. Then make sure windows is updated to the max.
